Check post overrun in Helmand, 6 killed

HELMAND, Jan. 15 – At around 7:00 pm local time early last night, Mujahideen stormed a police check post along Kandahar highway in Dorahi area of Sangin district, prompting clashes of heavy and light arms that resulted in the post was overrun after killing 6 puppets and forcing the rest to flee as well as leveling the post.

1 RPG launcher, 1 PKM machine gun, 4 rifles were also recovered from the post.
