Check post overrun in Farah, tank and vehicle destroyed

FARAH, Jan. 03 – Reports say, a gunman was killed and 6 others including commander Abdullah were wounded after a hireling post located along Herat road close to Esamuddin pump area was overrun by Mujahideen amid an intense gunfight of about 2 hours overnight.
It is said that a hireling tank and a vehicle have been destroyed while a PMK machine gun, 1 rifle, 2 pistols, 2 communication radios, 25000 ammos and other equipment has been seized while Mujahideen suffered no casualties during the operation.
