Check post overrun in Badghis, 4 tanks destroyed

BADGHIS, Sep. 13 – Mujahideen carried out attacks on a key enemy check post in Qarchaghi area of Qadis district at 8:00 pm local time last night, overrunning the post completely after killing a gunman and leaving 6 others wounded as well as destroying 3 tanks and another one by airplanes bombing.

2 PKM machine guns, 1 RPG launcher along with 20 rounds were seized during the operation.

It is said that 2 Mujahideen were wounded and 2 more have embraced martyrdom during the crossfire.
