Check post attacked in Garamsir, gunman shot

HELMAND, Feb. 26 – An unknown number of enemy personnel were killed and wounded after Mujahideen assaulted a hireling post in Takhta Pul area of Garamsir district overnight, dismantling 2 towers of the check post. Later on, a trooper was shot and killed on the spot by sniper in the above mentioned area.
