LOGAR, Sep. 2 – The nation and Mujahideen celebrated the proud day of independence from the United States in Pol-e-Alam city, the capital of Logar province.

The procession escorted by hundreds of Mujahideen vehicles, started from the provincial capital and marched to the Chowk-e-Biraq square where it was joined by hundreds of general public.

Logar Governor Maulana Ahmad Ali Jan Ahmad, Police Chief Maulana Zia-ul-Haq Hamid and the head of Information & Culture and Maulana Sadiq Jan Akif gave talks in the grand social gathering.

The governor congratulated the people on their freedom and lauded the sacrifices made by the nation while encouraged the gathering to give thanks to Allah. The general public and Mujahideen prostrated in gratitude to Allah.

Likewise, the Chief of Police and the head of Information and Culture also congratulated the people on this auspicious occasion and thanked them for standing with them for 20 years.

The celebration concluded with the Dua by Deputy Governor Maulana Mohammad Taib Hanif as the flag of the Islamic Emirate was hoisted and hoisted by the Governor and other officials.
