    BALKH, Oct. 4 – A roadside bomb blast hit and destroyed a vehicle carrying Ahmad Khan, a commander in the province capital of Balkh province on Monday, killing the commander and his gunman on the spot.

    PAKTIA, Oct. 4 – At least five puppets were injured in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen combatants in Ahmad Khel district of Paktia provice on Monday.

    GHAZNI, Oct. 4 – At least 4 puppets were killed and 9 others wounded with two vehicles destroyed in a series of Mujahideen attacks in Shalgar district of Ghazni province and its provincial capital on Monday.

    Samangan Mazar highway blocked off

    SAMANGAN, Oct. 4 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate closed off the road extending between Samangan and Mazar in the limits of Darah-e-Soof district of Samangan province early today, causing the enemy heavy losses. The road is reported to have remained closed off with the enemy access denied.  

    One killed as checkpoint attacked

    KUNAR, Oct. 4 – A puppet as killed when Mujahideen conducted an attack on the enemy post in Nari district of Kunar province on Monday.

    2 Arbakis killed in Logar

    LOGAR, Oct. 4 – Two Arbakis riding on motorcycles were killed when IEDs set off under their motorbikes in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province on Tuesday morning. On Monday, Mujahideen attacked the enemy base in the provincial capital of Logar province but the size of the losses inflicted on the enemy is unclear.
