HELMAND, Mar. 29.- Cash assistance has been provided to 335 needy and distitute families in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province.

While distributing the aid, the director of Refugees and Repatriation, Mawlawi Inqyadi said that the assistance was provided to the 335 families with the cooperation of the Department of Refugees and Repatriation and financial support of IRC.

The Director of Refugee and Repatriation Affairs added that the assistance was provided to the families of the poor, widows, orphans and the disabled.

 

Mr. Enqiadi also added that the survey of these families was conducted in different areas of Lashkar Gah in coordination with the Department of Refugees and Repatriation and today, according to the survey plan, some families were paid 10000 AFN and some families. The donation of 20000 AFN was made to meet the daily needs of the families.

It is noteworthy that the Department of Refugees and Repatriation has already provided similar assistance in some districts, including Lashkar Gah, in coordination with NGOs.
