FARYAB, Feb. 1 6 – In Faryab’s capital, Maimana 106 displaced families have received cash assistance by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The aid was provided by UNHCR in coordination with the Department of Refugees and Repatriations of Faryab Province.
Internally displaced families rendered homeless due to war and insecurity who had previously been surveyed and identified by a joint team of partner organizations were provided with 265 U.S dollars in cash per family in the presence of Alhaj Maulana Saifuddin Jihadi, head of refugee affairs, representative of the department of accident prevention and, representative of the department of economy.
