Today marked a significant milestone as the first-ever cardiac surgery department has been established and inaugurated at Shaheed Sardar Muhammad Daud Khan Hospital, a 400-bed facility, says ministry of national defense of the IEA.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Sheikh Muhammad Qasim “Farid,” the Deputy Minister of Planning and Policy at the Ministry of National Defense, alongside officials from the hospital.

 

The event took place in the hall of the Academy of Medical Sciences, where the officials presented a comprehensive overview of the achievements and activities carried out by the Health Affairs Command. They proudly highlighted that, thanks to the Ministry of National Defense’s dedicated attention, the Martyr Sardar Muhammad Daud Khan Hospital has successfully performed highly complex operations comparable to those conducted in other countries.

 

Expressing deep appreciation for the tireless efforts and activities of the hospital staff, Sheikh Muhammad Qasim “Farid” pledged to address their suggestions and resolve any challenges they may face. This recognition of their hard work and commitment further demonstrates the leadership’s commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services in the region.
