Cabinet approves next fiscal year budget

KABUL, Mar. 04 – The budget for the fiscal year 1402 was approved at a meeting of the Islamic Emirate’s cabinet, presided over by Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, according to a statement from Arg on Tuesday. The ministry of finance has been entrusted with taking the appropriate action in this regard.

According to the statement, the Prime Minister accepted a number of recommendations from the representative of the relevant department for the enhancement of passport distribution services.

Under the leadership of Acting Minister of Economic Mawlavi Mohammad Hanif, the commission of addressing transportation challenges has been tasked with making a thorough assessment of the implementation plan, control, and regulation of transportation matters that have been approved. Members of the commission include high-ranking officials from the General Directorate of Intelligence, the ministries of Interior, and Defense.

The authorities were reported as stating in the statement, “The commission shall travel to the provinces and conduct the necessary procedures in perfect coordination with the technical team in order to reclaim the seized lands.

Also, the prior contract for Jabal Siraj cement must be cancelled, according to the Ministry of Mines and Energy.

The meeting however didnot specified the exact amount of the budget which would be specified after the approval of the Supreme Leader.”
