KABUL, Feb. 19 –  The Kabul Municipality, with the assistance of Sirat Publishing Association, has created a book-telling exhibition in the Pul Sokhta neighbourhood in an effort to advance the culture of storytelling and make better use of urban areas.

The representative for the fifth district, Rafiullah Ahmadzai, claims that there has been a positive shift in the Pul Sokhta area and that many young people are willing to spend their time reading books in this urban setting.

According to him, with this work, urban culture and the sense of protection of urban facilities will be strengthened and on the other hand, the academic level of the youth will increase.

The exhibition will continue for three days, in which religious, jurisprudential, historical, economic, medical and social books will be displayed.

Book readers can read books and get them at reasonable prices.
