Balkh operations: 27 enemy personnel killed, 3 tanks destroyed 

BALKH, Jan. 16 – As many as 17 puppets suffered casualties in a 3-hour long firefight with Mujahideen in Zaray district of northern Balkh province.

Two of the enemy armored personnel carriers were also destroyed in the operation.

In another report from Balkh province, 5 puppets were killed when an enemy tank was targeted and blown apart by landmine blast in the said district.

A late night attack on a base killed 2 Arbakis in Chahar Bolak district of the province last night.

On Wednesday, Mujahideen attacked the enemy posts in Nahr-e-Shahi district of the province, killing 3 puppets.
