BALKH, Mar. 20 – At least 23 puppets including 2 officers were killed and 8 more were wounded in a 4-hour long firefight following Mujahideen attack on a post and responding to the reinforcements called for in Dawlat Abad district of northern Balkh province on Thursday.
Mujahideen seized from the enemy 4 Kalashnikov machine guns, 2 heavy machine guns, 1 DShK, a heavy antiaircraft gun and ammo, whereas 3 of the enemy tanks and 2 vehicles were, too, destroyed in the operation.
Also on Thursday, an Arbaki commander was killed in an infiltrator attack and 2 Kalashnikov machine guns and 1 pistol were seized.
In another report from Balkh province, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate killed 2 puppets following an ambush attack in Chahar Bolak district of northern Balkh province on Thursday.
