FARAH, Nov. 10 -Governor of Badghis Mawlawi Abdul Samad met with representative of various welfare organization in Badghis on Wednesday.
The meeting started with the recitation of some verses from the Holy Quran. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Abdul Samad Javed, Governor of welcomed the provincial officials of all the offices and asked them to extend their assistance to the concerned and poor families adding that the people are facing severe economic problems and lack of food and they should pay serious attention to this issue and provide food and necessary assistance to the people.
At the meeting, the officials of the organizations also assured to expedite the process of providing assistance to the needy people and the poor families as much as possible.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by NRC, WVI, ORCD, ACTED, IRC, DACAAR, WFP, UNICEF. And officials from other provincial organizations were also present.
