 GHAZNI, Jan. 9 – Al-Emarah News said over 10 enemy soldiers have been killed and a further 10 suffered casualties in a series of Mujahideen attacks in southern Afghanistan.

In southern Ghazni province, Mujahideen attacked a check post last night, triggering a brief exchange of fire in which 2 puppets were killed and 1 was injured, while another one was wounded in a separate attack. This came in Dayak district of the province.

In another report from Ghazni, at least 6 enemy soldiers were killed and 8 got wounded in Ghazni city, the capital of the province early Monday in a fighting lasting for hours following enemy offensive which was pushed back. Two of the enemy tanks were also destroyed in the fighting.

Later, the area came under heavy airstrikes by the U.S invaders war planes in which an old man and a Mujahid were martyred, whereas the defenseless civilians suffered losses in the airstrikes.

In the province’s Gilan district, 2 puppets were killed and 1 was injured after Mujahideen attacked an enemy post, while further losses of life and injury were inflicted on the enemy when Mujahideen engaged the enemy reinforcements later.
