The Ministry of Public Works has successfully finished and opened for use Asphalting of the Charikar City intersection, valued at over 45 million Afghanis, on the 4th of Rabi Al-Awwal, 1446.

The reconstruction of the Charikar city intersection connecting road (Kabul-North) route, initiated several months ago by the Ministry of Public Works, has been completed within Parwan province. The inauguration ceremony took place today, attended by community chairman Maulvi Izatullah Arif and various local dignitaries. Spanning 11150 square meters, the four-way road in Charikar city, Parwan province, underwent extensive reconstruction, including the refurbishment of two end bridges and roadside canals, resulting in a total width of 20 meters for both lanes.

This significant project’s completion has enabled the opening of the Charikar city route along the Kabul-North highway for public traffic. It ensures enhanced transportation facilities for passenger vehicles and the smooth movement of commercial goods. The Ministry of Public Works remains committed to providing comprehensive amenities for citizens through the construction, maintenance, and renovation of the nation’s highways and roads.
