Around 800 flood affected families receive assistance in Zabul

ZABUL, Dec. 17 – Department of Disaster Management of Zabul province, with the financial support of IoM/International Organization for Refugees, distributed cash aid and winter items to flood victims families in capital and ten districts of Zabul province.

Mullah Raza Muhammad Khalid, head of the natural disaster management, said that the aid is given to 797 families who were affected by the previous floods and rains.

The officials of the organization the aid includes pairs of socks, four pairs of children’s gloves, four pairs of children’s hats, three pairs of blankets, a bag, $200 in cash and 1300 AFN for fare will be paid.
