Police have apprehended a total of 48 individuals across 10 provinces of the country, in relation to various criminal activities such as theft, gambling, extortion, moral corruption, and illegal possession of weapons, says ministry of interior.
The arrests include the capture of 12 individuals involved in criminal offenses in Nuristan province, 10 criminals apprehended in Kunduz, seven individuals linked to the act of gambling in Faryab, and four thieves detained in Jawzjan.
Additionally, three individuals connected to extortion were arrested in Herat, five individuals engaged in gambling were apprehended in Sarpol, and two individuals involved in moral corruption were taken into custody in Balkh.
Furthermore, two thieves were arrested in Takhar, two individuals were detained for possessing military equipment in Kapisa, and another thief was apprehended in Samangan province.
The authorities successfully discovered and confiscated relevant evidence during these operations.
