Over the past 11 months of the year 1402, approximately 2.8 million metric tons of goods have been transported through Hairtan port, as reported by Mawlawi Mohammad Shafiq Mahmood the head of the Balkh province railway.

Mr. Mahmood further stated that the complete restoration and operation of this route will provide enhanced facilities for traders, ensuring the secure and safe import and export of their commercial assets.

 

Additionally, the officials mentioned that in the previous year, 1401 A.H., Hairatan port facilitated transfers totaling around 3.4 million tons. Presently, the average transfer volume through Haritaan port stands at 10 thousand metric tons, encompassing imports, exports, and transit activities, according to Mr. Mawlawi Mohammad Shafiq Mahmoud.
