Army posts come under attack in east; 2 killed

 KUNAR, Jan. 8 – An unknown number of the enemy soldiers suffered casualties when Mujahideen conducted attacks on the enemy posts in Surkani district of Kunar province through much Sunday, while a check post came under attack elsewhere in the said district last night, causing the enemy heavy losses.

Similarly, Mujahideen raided the enemy post in Manawara district of the province but there are no reports of the enemy casualties.

Also Sunday, 2 Arbakis were killed and 3 more were wounded when an explosion occurred near the enemy while on foot in Kamdish district of neighboring Nuristan province.
