In a commendable effort, health workers from the Afghan Red Crescent (ARCS) have offered comprehensive health services and distributed essential medications to a total of 1,660 refugees who have recently returned from Pakistan to the Torkham Omari camp.
The Afghan Red Crescent’s health facilities include a range of essential services such as a patient observation room, a nursing area, a dressing room, a dedicated vaccination room, a mental health space, a nutrition area, a female doctor, a maternity ward, a pharmacy, and other functional zones. These facilities operate round the clock, tirelessly attending to the needs of the returning refugees.
