ARCS President meets ICRC Coordinator in Afghanistan

KANDAHAR, May. 31 –  Mr. Mawlavi Mati-Ul-Haq “Khalis”, the General President of ARCS met Mrs. Roberta Falciola, ICRC Coordinator in Afghanistan, in Kandahar province on Tuesday.

In meeting, Mrs. Roberta Falciola expressed assurance regarding good coordination in humanitarian services with ARCS and promised to provide necessary cooperation in the capacity building of ARCS employees.

On the other hand, Mr. Khalis stated that Afghanistan is a mountainous country, where natural disasters occur frequently; we try to establish such a communication system, which will enable us to get accurate information regarding disasters from every corner of the country in few moments.

At the end of meeting, Mrs. Roberta appreciated the activities of ARCS & promised further cooperation.
