ARCS president Meets Asian head of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, the head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), held discussions with Anna Maria, the head of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for Asia, along with her accompanying delegation.

The Afghan Red Crescent Society reported that during this interaction, Mr. Delawar briefed Anna Maria on the initiatives of the Afghan Red Crescent Society and appealed for heightened support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Simultaneously, the head of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation commended the efforts of the Afghan Red Crescent and committed to enhancing the foundation’s aid to this organization.
