The President and Deputy Director of the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) held a meeting with the Acting Director General of the International Federation in Afghanistan and the Strategic Relations Officer for Afghanistan.
On Saturday, the 22nd of Ramadan, Mr. Sheikh Al-Hadith Shahabuddin Dilawar, Acting President of the Afghan Red Crescent, along with his deputy, Mr. Hafiz Aziz Rahman, engaged in discussions with Mr. Ahmad Suleiman, Acting Director General of the International Federation in Afghanistan, and Ms. Huma Nader, the Strategic Relations Officer for Afghanistan.
The focus of the meeting was to extend aid to returning refugees, the underprivileged, and those impacted by drought, as well as to prepare for upcoming drought challenges. They sought support and collaboration from the International Federation in these endeavors.
Subsequently, the Acting Director of the International Federation in Afghanistan and the organization’s Strategic Relations Head for Afghanistan pledged assistance and cooperation in the mentioned areas.
They also committed to facilitating the Afghan Red Crescent’s leadership to travel abroad, aiming to garner humanitarian aid for the vulnerable, disaster-affected, and drought-stricken compatriots, and to expedite relief efforts in these critical areas.
