ARCS President Meets Special Envoy of OIC for Afghanistan

KABUL, Mar. 08 – Mawlavi Mati-Ul-Haq “Khalis” the Acting General President of Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) had joint meeting with Mr.Tarig Ali “Bakhiet”, the special envoy of the Secretary-General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for Afghanistan, said ARCS in a statement.

Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Ayash, representative of OIC in Afghanistan and thier accompanied delegation, at his office in headquarter-ARCS.
In meeting, Mr. Khalis thanked Mr.Tarig Ali “Bakhiet” for helping the vulnerable people of Aghanistan.

Mr. Khalis called on Organization of Islamic Cooperation to support ARCS in addition to relief for affected people of disasters, also in the sections of cash assistance to beggar families, protection and treatment of psychological patients and treatment of children suffering from cardiovascular septal defect.

He stated ” The mentioned three sections have high costs and ARCS cannot always bear this burden lonely; We hope that OIC will support ARCS.”
