As per a statement of the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS). Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Dilawar, the Acting General Director of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, along with his delegation, conducted discussions in China with Mr. Alexander Matthew, the Head of the Asian Department of the International Federation, aiming to bolster humanitarian aid and cooperation efforts in Afghanistan.

 

The Acting General Director of the Afghan Red Crescent Society presented a thorough overview of the organization’s activities, accomplishments, and humanitarian services across various sectors. He addressed the humanitarian conditions in Afghanistan, emphasizing the significance of assistance from international aid organizations and advocating for prompt and essential aid to aid those impacted by natural disasters and to support vulnerable individuals, particularly during the winter season.

 

Mr. Matthew commended the humanitarian initiatives and endeavors of the Afghan Red Crescent, expressing full dedication to supporting the organization. He pledged collaborative efforts and sustained support in addressing humanitarian challenges.

 

Both parties engaged in detailed deliberations regarding upcoming strategies for mutual cooperation in the future.
