ZABUL, Oct. 21 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on a hireling military base and 2 check posts in Kart Kani area of Dehrawod district overnight. Attacks in which heavy and light arms were used, resulted in the said base and both the posts were overrun forcing the enemy to flee, leaving corpses an APC, 1 ranger pickup and other military equipment behind on the battle ground. This brings all the major routs connecting capital Tarinkot, Dehrawod and Helmand came under the control of Mujahideen.
