APC, equipment seized as offensive repelled in Shindand

HERAT, Oct. 10 – Reports arriving from Shindand district state that an enemy convoy that arrived last day to Bartakhat and Pusht Takhat area for an operation was forced to flee after suffering heavy casualties.
The said convoy was under heavy Mujahideen attacks since early morning yesterday and fled overnight, leaving an APC, 1 US type PKM machine gun along with its 2415 rounds, 1 communication device and a large number of heavy and light arms behind.
It is said  that a Mujahid also embraced martyrdom in the operation.
