HERAT, Oct. 11 – A power full earthquake yet again struck Herat province’s Zinda Jan district Early this morning, said Ahmadullah Muttaqi the head of Information and culture of the province. So far, no information has been shared about the damage caused.
According to U.S. geological survey the magnitude of the earthquake was 6.3 with epicentre 28km outside of the Herat city.
It is to be mentioned that a series of devastating earthquakes hit Herat on Saturday, taking lives of thousands residents with rescue operation still ongoing for those trapped under debris.
