An interview with the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Qari Yousuf Ahmadi

An interesting and instructive interview was conducted by the team of Haqiqat Magazine on its fourth anniversary with the honorable spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Qari Yousuf Ahmadi about the recent developments in Afghanistan. In the following lines, it has been translated into English for our esteemed readers.

 

Question: To begin, Mr. Ahmadi, if you could introduce yourself to our readers!

Answer:

‏الحمدلله و کفی والصلوة والسلام علی عباده الذین اصطفی امابعد:

‘In the name of Allah, the most Gracious and the most Merciful’.

My name is Qari Yousuf Ahmadi and I am the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. My duty is to inform and update the media about the military activities of the heroic Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate as well as the non-military developments of our people. On the daily basis, I am in contact with various media outlets by sending them reports and messages about the latest military developments via e-mails, Twitter, WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram. I also conduct live interview with them, if needed.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, we convey and deliver our messages and reports to more than 500 media sources throughout the world to keep the people informed about the day to day happenings in our country.

When military operations are conducted by our courageous Mujahidin anywhere in Afghanistan, I remain in regular contact with them to get first-hand information and then sharing it with media. So one can easily guess that my responsibility is round the clock.

Similarly, I search all the reliable and prestigious media channels via Internet and other available means, to keep myself informed about the latest issues concerning us, so that a timely feedback could be given if needed.

Early in the morning at 7 a.m. I turn my phone on and remain in touch with our Mujahidin if there is any operation on some airport, military base or any other significant incident which should be shared with the media. This process remains incessant till late at night.

 

Question: How do you evaluate the ongoing ‘Mansoori’ Jihadi operations, especially in the areas covered by you?

Answer: The areas to be reported by me include Badghis, Saripul, Faryab, Ghor, Herat, Nimroz, Farah, Helmand, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Daikundi and Zabul provinces.

The ongoing ‘Mansoori’ Jihadi operations are proceeding as successful as the previous ‘Umari’ Jihadi operations had been. In these operations, colossal financial losses and casualties have been inflicted on the wicked foreign invaders as well as their internal mercenaries. The enemy is badly defeated on all fronts and is deeply embarrassed and frustrated. These operations were launched in the memory of our honorable and late Amir-ul-Momineen ‘Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor’ (may his soul rest in eternal peace). Since he was highly devoted and sincere to the lofty cause of liberating our country from the vicious yoke of foreign occupation and wanted restoration of its sovereignty under an Islamic Sharia, therefore his name was assumed as a good omen for these operations. And the recent tremendous progress and developments have proved that it was not a mistaken idea.

Due to the grace of Almighty Allah and the steadfastness and dedication of our Mujahidin, the wicked enemy has been compelled to admit his complete failure on all fronts.

 

Question: Trump, the American president, has recently announced a new vicious strategy about Afghanistan. How do you evaluate its effects on Mujahidin activities inside the country, as you are constantly in contact with them?

Answer: Since Mr. Trump is an unacquainted person with state affairs and diplomacy, therefore he adopted an amateurish and wicked strategy which is harmful for their own forces besides undermining their long-term interests in the region. On one side it has negatively affected the American people as thousands of their sons are carelessly sacrificed for the vicious interests of a minority stakeholders who are waging wars in different parts of the world to achieve and secure their vested malicious economic-political objectives. On the other hand, this imprudent strategy has provoked the regional countries whose political, economic and trade interests are undermined by the extension of this futile war in Afghanistan.

As for far our Mujahidin are concerned, this nasty strategy has resulted positively for them. Simultaneously with its implementation, civilian losses and casualties increased significantly due the indiscriminate bombing, artillery shelling and brutal night raids of the savage foreign invaders as well as their internal mercenaries. These brutalities provoked the pious and freedom loving people of our country and they are now joining Mujahidin in large numbers to get rid of this ruthless foreign occupation. These volunteers are increasing day by day, which has rejuvenated the morale of our Mujahidin and this phenomenon will inevitably result in ending the brutal and illegitimate occupation of our country by the savage foreign invaders.

The people who have suffered wounds, incarcerations and martyrdom for long against all the previous foreign occupations in their history, can little be affected by these tactics and strategies of foreign invaders. Here I would like cite one example. After the announcement of Trump’s new strategy, I met with a martyrdom seeking volunteer Mujahid and asked his view. His immediate answer was, ‘Would that the American and NATO forces are increased in our country, because they can be easily targeted then’. So how can one defeat such a brave and devoted people!!?

 

 

Question: How optimistic you are about ongoing regional and local developments?

Answer: In my opinion, the present scenario is quite promising for us. On one hand, the foreign invading forces are completely exhausted by suffering huge financial losses and heavy casualties in the battle fields. The American people cannot afford this futile war for interminable time and they want to get rid of it as soon as possible. Ordinary American people as well as their congressmen are now openly speaking against this blunder of their former wicked leaders.

On the other hand, the regional situation has largely changed and one can easily discern it. Our neighboring countries have realized the dangers and threats of long term American presence in the region. Therefore, they say no more ditto to America. Inside the country, Mujahidin have accelerated their Jihadi operations as their influence is increasing day by day. The day is not far off when all foreign invaders will be expelled from our country, and peace and stability will be restored here. In-sha Allah (God willing)!!!
