Al Emarah Studio, part of the Multimedia Branch of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Cultural Commission, presents release no. 76 entitled ‘Conquest of Shorabak’.
Shorabak district fell to the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate amid the fast paced ‘Omari Operation’ a few days earlier after the enemy forces withdrew from the district administration building, police HQ, outpost and security check posts which were under a tight siege for the past year.
The video contains an footage of the taken over areas as well as interviews with locals and the respected governor of Shorabak.
