KABUL, Dec. 31 – As a result of the successful negotiations between the Afghanistan railway authority (ARA) officials and the railway officials of Uzbekistan, an agreement reached regarding the process of transfer of the responsibilities of the Haritaan-Mazar-e-Sharif railway, said press office of the ARA.

Based on agreement, the responsibilities of Haritaan-Mazar-Sharif railway, which was carried out by Sogdiana Trans Uzbekistan company for about 11 years, will be transferred to the Afghanistan Railway Authority according to a regular schedule.

It should be mentioned that the Afghanistan Railway Authority is fully prepared to carry out all the affairs of this project and will try to provide more facilities to the traders by accepting the responsibilities.
