As peace agreement was signed with America, considerable decrease has been observed in Mujahidin’s attacks, but still they had significant victories and achievements in April 2020, though it (April) consisted of the first week of the holy month of Ramadan i.e. fasting month of the Muslims. During this month, a large number of the enemy’s people amalgamated with Mujahidin. A significant number of the enemy forces were also killed and wounded in this month. These and various other issues are discussed under the following captions:

Losses of the foreign occupying forces:

On the basis of peace agreement, no casualties of foreign occupying forces were reported during this month. Only once the strategic ‘Bagram’ airbase came under rocket attacks which was claimed by Daish. No accurate report of losses and casualties of this attack was released.

On Tuesday 21st April, a ‘drone’ of the foreign occupying forces collapsed near the central airport of Farah province, and the reason of this incident is still not clear.

Losses and casualties of the internal mercenaries:

Despite the considerable decrease in Mujahidin’s attacks, the list of losses and casualties of the internal mercenaries is long. In the following lines, some of these incidents are mentioned:

On Saturday 4th April, a personal body-guard of ‘Ashraf Ghani’ was killed in ‘Paghman’ district of Kabul province.

On Saturday 11th April, another body-guard was killed by some unknown armed people in Kabul city.

On Friday 17th April, a police officer including his three personnel were killed in ‘Lashkar Gah’ city, the center of Helmand province.

On Friday 24th April, a local policeman successfully escaped after killing thirteen of other policemen in Badghis province.

On Thursday 30th April, the head of local national security was killed in ‘Nawa’ district of Ghazni province.

Since Mujahidin had considerably decreased their attacks due to the peace agreement, therefore the amount of losses and casualties of the internal mercenaries was reduced, though it was totally otherwise before the agreement.

Torture and casualties of civilian people by the enemy forces:

Though some decrease in civilian losses and casualties has been noticed after the peace agreement, but the brutalities of the joint enemy forces are still incessant. In the following lines, some cases are elaborated:

On Saturday 4th April, demonstrators in Baghlan province told that several innocent civilians including children and women were ruthlessly martyred by the enemy forces in this province. But the stooge setup in Kabul quite shamelessly labelled the victims as Taliban.

On the following day, fifteen civilian people were martyred by the savage joint enemy forces in two separate incidents in Urzgan and Zabul provinces.

On the same day, eight civilian people were martyred by the joint enemy forces in Badakhshan province.

On Wednesday 8th April, eight children were ruthlessly martyred in the indiscriminate bombing of the enemy forces in ‘Daman’ district of Kandahar province.

On Saturday 11th April, eight members of one and the same family were martyred and injured in the blind bombing of the enemy forces in ‘Shah Wali Kot’ district of Kandahar province.

On Thursday 16th April, two women and a child were martyred by the internal mercenary forces near the center of Paktia province.

On Sunday 26th April, a member of provincial council of ‘Maidan Wardak’ province told that losses are inflicted on the civilian people as their houses are attacked by the mercenary forces of stooge admin, even if there is no fighting in the area.

On the last day of April, media reported that a mosque and its adjacent madrassa were demolished in the indiscriminate artillery shelling of the internal mercenary forces in Balkh province.

Complete details of these incidents can be found and read in the monthly report of ‘civilian losses and casualties’ regularly published on the official website of the Islamic Emirate.

Amalgamation with Mujahidin:

After the peace agreement and due to the indefatigable efforts of the ‘Invitation and Amalgamation Commission’ of the Islamic Emirate, workers and forces of the stooge admin are leaving their ranks on the daily basis by joining Mujahidin in their respective areas.

On Friday 3rd April, tens of the stooge admin workers joined Mujahidin in different districts of Balkh and Badakhshan provinces.

On Wednesday 15th April, thirty one armed personnel of the stooge admin surrendered to Mujahidin in Balkh and Ghor provinces.

On Friday 17th April, forty armed men of the enemy forces including their head joined Mujahidin in Ghor province.

On Wednesday 22nd April, nineteen people of the mercenary army joined Mujahidin in ‘Jawand’ district of Badghis province.

On Tuesday 28th April, after realizing the ground realities, tens of enemy’s personnel left their ranks and joined Mujahidin in Balkh province.

Detailed information of the enemy forces leaving the stooge admin and joining Mujahidin can be found and read in the monthly reports of the ‘Invitation and Amalgamation Commission’ of the Islamic Emirate regularly published on the official website of the Islamic Emirate.

‘Al-Fatah’ Operations:

Despite the peace agreement, ‘Al-Fatah’ operations are incessantly going on against the internal mercenaries, in which tens of their forces were killed and wounded during April. In the following lines, some details are given:

On Thursday 9th April, the strategic Bagram airbase was the witness of a severe attack, in which losses were inflicted on the foreign occupying forces. Though eventually Daish claimed the responsibility of this attack.

On Friday 17th April, six workers of Bagram airbase were killed in Bagram district.

On Monday 20th April, twenty one enemy forces were killed as Mujahidin countered the military operations launched by the mercenary army against Mujahidin in Takhar province.

On Wednesday 29th April, eighteen enemy forces were killed and wounded as severe attacks were carried out on the outposts of the special forces of puppet regime in Kabul.

Peace Agreement:

On Saturday 29th February, peace agreement with America was signed, necessitating the end of foreign occupying forces attacks and the release of five thousand prisoners of the Islamic Emirate under the American supervision from the stooge admin jails. However, several attacks were carried out by the foreign occupying forces and a small number of the Islamic Emirate prisoners have been released from jails yet.

On Sunday 5th, the Islamic Emirate announced that the incessant violations of the American forces and their supporters can undermine the peace agreement by resulting in the escalation of fighting once again.

On Tuesday 7th April, the first delegation of the Islamic Emirate sent to Kabul for the exchange of prisoners, was called back as a protest against the unnecessary hurdles created by the stooge admin in this process.

On Wednesday 8th April, the American foreign secretary Pompeo told that there are complications in the implementation of peace agreement, by expressing their commitment to the withdrawal of their forces from Afghanistan.

Withdrawal of Foreign Forces:

On Wednesday 1st April, the NATO secretary general announced that the time of reducing their forces in Afghanistan has arrived.

On Thursday 16th April, NATO reported its readiness to withdraw four thousand forces from Afghanistan.

On Wednesday 22nd April, the Pentagon told that America has a plan to withdraw one thousand contractors from Afghanistan.

On Monday 27th April, 150 American troops left Afghanistan.

On the same day, media reported that Trump has a plan to completely withdraw American forces from Afghanistan, which was revealed by him in his meeting with the American National Security Council.

On Tuesday 28th April, General Miller told that in case Taliban attacks remain incessant, it will be countered; whereas the peace agreement obliges the American forces to refrain from direct attacks and not to pursue Mujahidin after internal fighting. The Islamic Emirate announced in response to Miller expressions that these kind of warnings in peace environment can possibly result in the escalation of fighting once again.

On Thursday 30th April, the Islamic Emirate released a statement by announcing that five thousand American troops have been withdrawn from Afghanistan hitherto.
