The Embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad marked Victory Day with a special gathering. Attending the meeting were a host of dignitaries, including Federal Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Riyaz Hussain Pirzada, Special Representative of Pakistan for Afghanistan, Asif Durrani, Chairman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Party Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Member of Parliament and Chairman PKMAP Mahmood Khan Achakzai, former Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq, former Minister and People’s Party member Safran, Senator Talha Mehmood, Chairman of the Muslim Unity Party Allama Raja Abbas Jafari, representatives of the Tehreek-e-Insaf Party, numerous other Pakistani officials and members of political parties, renowned journalists, academic faculty from universities, seminaries, and educational institutions, as well as religious scholars.

 

Additionally, deputy ambassadors and diplomats from Russia, China, Iraq, Iran, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sudan, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, and various other political representatives were present at these ceremonies.
