The Afghan Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, hosted a gathering of Iftar banquet on Tuesday evening. The event welcomed educational and humanitarian organizations active in Afghanistan, as well as Turkish elites, scholars, media representatives, and members of Afghan civil society.

Mohammad Zubair Wadan, the Charge d’Affaires of the Afghan Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, organized this event during the holy month of Ramadan to express gratitude for the ongoing efforts of Turkish educational and humanitarian institutions in Afghanistan.

Representatives from 60 active Turkish institutions participated, contributing to the expansion of cooperation across various sectors such as economic, trade, and cultural relations between the two countries.

During the ceremony, Mr. Fateh Kayajan, Deputy Secretary-General of Diyanet, and Mr. Hossein Jivin, Head of the Civil Society and Volunteers Section of Turkey, representing Turkish institutions, expressed appreciation for the Iftar banquet.

They reaffirmed the Turkish government’s dedication to continuing humanitarian and educational assistance, emphasizing that the longstanding and fraternal ties between the two nations have been strengthened through such aid efforts.

Both speakers underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation not only in the present but also in the years to come.
