A bilateral discussion took place between Afghan and Iranian delegations, focusing on decisions concerning the Chabahar port and the Azadi area.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that a meeting was held between representatives of the Islamic Emirate and an Iranian delegation led by Minister Nouruddin Azizi and Governor of Sistan and Balochistan Mohammad Karmi.
During this meeting, the Ministry of Industry and Trade indicated that the discussions revolved around the execution of agreements established during the visit of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Minister of Economy, to Iran, specifically regarding the Chabahar Port and Free Zone.
It was stated by the ministry that a technical committee was formed from officials of both parties to delve deeper into these matters and ensure the implementation of the agreed-upon decisions.
