As per a statement of the ARG, Mawlawi Abdulsalam Hanafi, the Administrative Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting today with Bakhtiar Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, expressed a warm welcome to the Uzbekistan Foreign Minister and his delegation, emphasizing the longstanding and friendly relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan in cultural, economic, political, historical, and religious spheres. He expressed optimism for further expansion of these relations.
Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi also highlighted that since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, there have been no security incidents along the border between the two countries. He expressed gratitude that peace and tranquility have finally returned to Afghanistan after four decades of turmoil, allowing the nation to live harmoniously like brothers.
