Acting Minister of Interior Affairs visits Balkh province

KABUL, Jun. 08 –  Acting Minister of Interior Affairs IEA, H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani arrived in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province on Sunday, said a statement of the interior ministry.

Governor of Balkh, Haji Muhammad Yusuf Wafa, welcomed the visit of the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs to Mazar-e-Sharif and called this visit a good step.

After going to Hazrat Sakhi Sahib’s shrine, H.E Khalifa also went to the tomb of Wazir Muhammad Akbar Khan and other personalities, prayed for their souls and met with the administrators of the shrine.

H.E Haqqani promised that he will help in the restoration of Sakhi Sahib’s shrine and in the construction of a library for the seminary in the courtyard of the shrine.

Also, Haji Wafa’s special attention to the historical museum built in the premises of the shrine was appreciated and he also shared some advice with them in order to solve pending problems.

On Monday morning, H.E Khalifa met with the officials, scholars and tribal leaders of Balkh province in the hall located in the premises of the provincial headquarters of Mazar-e-Sharif city.

The gathering started with the recitation of holy verses of the Holy Quran. Mawlawi Abu Idris, the deputy governor of Balkh province, called H.E Khalifa’s visit an honor for the people of the north. Then he added This is the result of the sacrifices of the Mujahideen of Balkh Province and the great grace and mercy of Allah, that we see leaders among us.

He further said: “We have made great sacrifices in bringing the Islamic system and now the survival of the system requires the sacrifices of honesty, integrity and unity. We are one nation and we must be more united.”

 

Sheikh Muhammad Saad Hashemi, the head of Ulama Council of Balkh Province, who was another speaker in this meeting said in his speech: Security has been given priority in all religions, states and nations: “The credit and praise of current security should be attributed to the Islamic Emirate, the efforts of the Islamic Emirate should be praised at the national and international level At the end of the meeting, H.E Khalifa gave a speech.

He said: We got the control of the government when everything was chaotic. This chaotic situation kept us busy, so accept our excuse for being late H.E Haqqani said: Enemies are making many conspiracies to divide Afghans, but the roots of prejudice here were never present in the people but brought by foreigners and only had a political aspect. The enemies of Afghanistan tried to divide the country but the Mujahideen of the North and the deep roots of national unity proved that we are a united nation.

Our real situation is that from Panjsher to the earthquake victims of Paktika and from Uruzgana to the people affected by the natural calamities of Badakhshan the helping hands were extended. Our unity is natural, it has deep roots in our beliefs. Those Afghans who were frightened by propaganda and left their homeland should return; This country is a common and peaceful home for all H.E Haqqani recalled the memories of Jihad and said:

At the beginning of Jihad, many people pointed out to me the use of other methods instead of armed struggle, but due to the sacrifice and persistence of Mujahideen, we succeeded in all trials H.E Khalifa added: Amir-ul-Momineen gave a general amnesty for peace. After the amnesty, if someone violated, they were dealt with according to Sharia law H.E Khalifa advised the Mujahideen:

The survival of the system lies in good morals. Power and status sometimes create arrogance and pride in a person, with pride, the intellect and thinking of a person goes away Amir-ul-Momineen, may Allah protect him, used to tell me that we have nothing but good manners, and we should treat our subordinates well. The elder Sheikh has sent a message of greetings and to have good manners with everyone.

My message to the Mujahideen is to be in the service of the people day and night, and even those Mujahideen who are not officially on duty, have a responsibility before Allah and the Messenger to serve the people through good deeds and with high morals and should remain committed to noble attributes of being a Mujahid.

 

H.E Khalifa said that: Scholars are our spiritual leaders and the success of this world and the hereafter lies in their guidance.

The people share in our profits and losses, as our system is all-inclusive provide opportunities to tribal leaders, scholars and other professionals as well. In the end, he said that In order to save the youth from the domination of foreign culture, we must develop our Islamic and Afghan culture and thought. We should make it so beloved that people accept it voluntarily by themselves.
