KABUL, Feb. 15 – The Acting Minister of Higher Education, Shiekh Ul Hadith Mawlawi Nida Mohammad Nadeem met Japanese ambassador, Takashi Okada, and discussed about the long history of Afghanistan and Japan saying that “Japan has always wanted peace in Afghanistan, and touched with its people.

He emphasized that we have to share academic research experiences and good educational relations with each other. Furthermore, the Acting Minister of Higher Education declare confidentiality to the ambassador of Japan that Islamic Emirate is committed to having good relations with international community and wants to continue good relations with all governments, including Japan.

Additionally, Japanese Ambassador, Takashi Okada said that we always stand with Afghan people and humanitarian aid will carry on to Afghanistan.

Besides, the acting minister demanded from Takashi Okada for issuing scholarships for Afghan students, he asked to train professional teachers for educational foundations.

It is worth mentioning that in this meeting, both sides discussed about better educational relations, creating facilities in the field of scholarships for young people and sharing academic experiences.
