KABUL, Oct. 22 – The Acting Minister of Interior Affairs IEA, H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met the outgoing Japanese Ambassador & also met his replacement in a meeting in Kabul, today says ministry of interior.

The outgoing Ambassador, Mr Takashi Okada offered his condolences for the losses in the recent earthquake. He praised the security situation in the country & according to him, he has traveled all over Afghanistan including Kandahar & Bamiyan without any fear or problem.

During the meeting, H.E Khalifa praised Mr. Takashi Okada’s mission & thanked him. He also welcomed the newly appointed ambassador and wished him success in carrying out his duties.

H.E Khalifa added that, Japan has always helped & sympathized with Afghans & this spirit is reflected in the good mission of the ambassadors,considering the historical relations between the 2 countries, Japan can play a constructive role in the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
