Acting Interior Minister meets Chinese Ambassador

KABUL, Jan. 16 – Acting Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met with Chinese Ambassador Wang Yu. Mr. Yu called on the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to ensure that Afghan soil will not be used against any country.

Ambassador Wang Yu said that the United States using “inclusive government, human rights, women’s rights and freedom of expression as pretext in Afghanistan.” But China wants to work with Afghans to help them.

Afghan Interior Minister welcomed the Chinese Ambassador and thanked China for its humanitarian assistance and called on China to continue its assistance to the Afghan people in this sensitive situation.
