KABUL, Feb. 09 – Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Mottaqi had a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and inquired about the health of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife who has been infected with Corona, shared a message of sympathy from the leadership of the Islamic Emirate and prayed for their health.

Mr. Mottaki then commended the Turkish side for the 750 tons of food and winter supplies that arrived at the port of Torghundi through train on 7th February.
Mr. Oglu assured that 500 to 700 tons more aid would be provided and will arrive in Afghanistan by the end of February, and donations from the Turkish Red Crescent and other charities will continue.
Mr Oglu also announced the start of the visa process in Kabul, promising to begin consular services of Turkey in Mazar-e-Sharif in March.

Mr Oglu welcomed the positive steps taken by the new Afghan government and appreciated launch of the university.
