According to a statement of the ministry of interior, an eight-year-old child named Khadim, who had been abducted a few days earlier, was successfully rescued by the security forces of the Nangarhar Police Headquarters in a thorough investigation and clearance operation.
The child has been reunited with his family unharmed.
Furthermore, one male kidnapper was apprehended during the operation and is set to be transferred to the judicial authorities for additional inquiry.
