900 farmers receive agricultural implements in Washir district

HELMAND, Mar. 25 – Yesterday, agricultural implements and materials were distributed to 900 farmers in Lor and Bacha Rabia areas of Washir district of Helmand province, reported Bakhter News Agency.

The assistance was provided by the National Reconstruction Institute of Afghanistan to the farmers who had been surveyed some time ago under the supervision of district and intelligence.
The donations included shovels, cabbages, vegetable seeds, bean sprouts, tomatoes, onions, cabbage, cream, eggplant, coriander and other seeds.
The assistance was provided in the presence of Engineer Ahmad Zia, a representative of the Afghanistan Reconstruction Foundation, and district and intelligence representatives.
