9 vehicles seized, heavy casualties caused in Uruzgan

URUZGAN, Oct. 29 – Officials say, a gunfight that started on Thursday against fleeing enemy troops in Khushdir area of Chora district was ended at noon yesterday after inflecting heavy casualties to enemy.
According to details, 1 APC, 4 ranger pickups, 3 tractors, 1 police van, 2 vehicles full of ammunition, 26 AK rifles, 6 American PKM machine guns, 4 mortar tubes, 3 Dshk, 6 communication devices, 2 boxes of small scale communication devices have been seized and an APC along with 2 rangers destroyed.
