9 vehicles destroyed in Sangin, heavy casualties caused

HELMAND, Aug. 15 – According to latest reports from southern Helmand province Mujahideen carried out an attack on a hireling convoy in Cheni Manda and Amanullah Kakrez area of Sangin district early Sunday.
Attack in which heavy and light arms were used continued till early night hours, resulting in 8 Kamaz trucks shot and destroyed and a fuel tanker torn apart by roadside bomb attack.
Enemy also suffer heavy casualties that are unknown at the moment.
