BAGHLAN, Oct. 15 – Early Sunday Mujahideen opened fire on the supply convoy traveling along Kabul-Kunduz road in the Baghlan-e-Markazi district of northern province of Baghlan, forcing it into a halt and a heavy firefight triggered in which 1 main battle tank and 2 trucks filled with supplies were destroyed.
it is, however, not clear how many of the security personnel suffered casualties.
Later, 2 policemen lost their lives with another 2 suffering injuries when a tank the police were riding in was struck by IEDs along Kabul-Mazar road in the limits of Poli Khomri district of the mentioned province, whereas in an almost simultaneous blast 3 Arbakis were killed and 2 more got hurt elsewhere in Pol-e-Khomri.
