9 killed, vehicle destroyed as post overrun in Kandahar

KANDAHAR, Jan. 09 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’, Mujahideen managed to overrun an Arbaki check post in Talo Kan area of Panjwaie district last midnight following gunfight of heavy, light arms and sniper fire of about one hours, killing 9 puppets and forcing the rest to flee while leaving corpses, 2 PKM machine guns, 1 LMG, 6 rifles and several other war tools behind on the battle ground.

Details say a ranger pickup was also destroyed and a Mujahid was too wounded in the operation.
