9 killed, over 7 injured in Paktia province

PAKTIA, May 17 – A roadside bomb blast killed 7 puppets in Chamkani district of Paktia province.

In another report, 1 commando was killed and 3 more were wounded in a clash with Mujahideen in Patan district of the province.

Elsewhere in the said province, Mujahideen fighters overran a post last night, leaving a number of the enemy dead and 2 more wounded.

Early today, Mujahideen fighters pounded the enemy base with heavy weapons but there is no information on the enemy casualty toll.

In Gardiz city, the provincial capital of the province, a policeman was killed and two more were wounded on Tuesday.
