GHAZNI, Aug. 7 – At least 5 enemy soldiers were killed when a roadside bomb blast targeted the tank carrying them to a post in Shalgar district of Ghazni province early Monday. A Mujahid fighter was also martyred in Monday’s fighting.

Late Monday, 3 puppets were killed and 1 got injured in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Gilan district of Ghazni province.

Elsewhere in Ghazni city, clashes erupted but there is no information on the enemy casualty toll.

In another report from Ghazni, a policeman was killed and another one was injured in a clash in Ghazni city, the capital of the province with same name. A Kalashnikov was seized from the target.
